Floor Standing
I. Furnish servicemen and equipment required to disassemble and remove slide assembly, connections and counterbalances from press.
II. Transport slide, connections links and counterbalances to Superb.
III. Remove all components form slide, clean and inspect for wear and dimensional integrity. Review all findings at this time and submit any additional repairs required that are not already listed in this quotation.
IV. Repairs:
Upper Connection Bushings:
A. Upper connection bushings both have excessive clearances and recommend replacement. (RH .021) (LH .036)
B. Remove worn bushings from links.
C. Furnish bronze material, pre machine and install into links.
D. Set up links onto mill, finish bore and install oil grooves.
E. Links to be bored on alike center distances.
Adjustment housing assemblies:
A. Adjustment housing assembly clearances are (LH .010) (RH .014).
B. Inspect and measure clearance between housing, nut and screw.
C. Machine housing and nut as required to close up tolerances.
Lower Connection:
A. Lower connections show excessive clearance (LH .040) (RH .034)
B. Remove worn wrist pin bushings, furnish bronze material, machine and install.
C. Furnish material and machine two new wrist pins if required.
D. Machine wrist pin bores in screws to fit new pins.
V. Reassembly of slide components:
A. Reinstall all adjustment assembly components back into slide and fasten.
B. Verify all clearances are in operating tolerances.
C. Install links into screws and insert wrist pins.
VI. Counterbalance cylinders:
A. Disassemble clean and inspect.
B. Review all findings at this time with Rygate personnel.
