Note: Mechanical Rebuild includes full slide assembly rebuild, with all new bushings, and all perishable components. Work is close to being completed. We have all components back in house, we just need to set aside 2-3 weeks to properly reassemble the press.
Mechanical Recondition Explanation:
Clutch/Brake Assembly
Replace Liners on Clutch/Brake Assembly
Replace all seals, packings and guide bushings
replace bearings and clean up clutch and brake plates and reassemble and test
Slide Assembly
Clean up Ball Seat and Ball Seat bushing and reassemble
Remachine bottom of slide assembly
Replace Gibb liners with new Micarta liners
check condition of adjustment screws and adjustment nuts to insure proper fit
Clean up inside of slide and reassemble and reinstall into press
Bolster Plate; machine top and bottom to parallel
Machine all (4) gibbs to parallel
Replace Upper Connection Arm Bushings with new bronze material
Check all lubrication and air system components for proper operation
Replace any items that are deemed questionable
